Welcome
Mr. Correll
Welcome to Solomon-Plains Memorial Elementary School!
On behalf of the staff members of Solomon-Plains Elementary School, I would like to welcome everyone to the 2020-2021 school year. It is a privilege to serve the students, families and community as principal of Solomon-Plains Elementary School. We look forward to working alongside you to provide the most successful learning experience for our students.

Last school year was an unprecedented one in the history of our educational system. In reaction to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the school district was closed to normal activity in March, and successfully moved to a Distance Learning model shortly after. As we continue to navigate these extraordinary times, we will continue to work together to ensure our students succeed for the 2020-2021 school year.

Our vision for Solomon-Plains Elementary School is to continue to build a school environment where students feel safe, comfortable, challenged and engaged. Right there beside them are passionate and dedicated staff, parents, community members and more, ready to support, help, learn and grow with them. Our objective is that together we can make all of these characteristics of an ideal school happen successfully at Solomon-Plains Elementary School!

We thank you in advance for taking on this charge with us to benefit and support your child and his/her experience at Solomon-Plains Elementary School. It is vital to have your collaboration, assistance, and participation in the school experience to ensure that your child obtains their highest potential. In addition, we encourage each family to keep the school updated of phone numbers, email and mailing addresses to maintain communication with teachers and administration. In return, we will provide open communication through monthly school wide calendars of events that include imperative dates and information for you and/or your child, share information on our school’s web page and offer progress online through skyward.
Lastly, as principal I am looking forward to working with you and your child towards success. I do request that your child reads 30-60 minutes daily, including Saturday and Sunday to keep their mind sharp and focused. Remember, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact any of us at the school, at any time!   Together, we will help your child, and all of our students, develop a love for learning and good life-long habits!
With Solomon Spirit,
Mr. Justin Correll,
Principal
