The Wilkes-Barre Area Athletic Department is excited to announce a free Youth Sports Summer Camp for students enrolled in 5^th & 6^th grades at District schools for the 2022-2023 school year.  The camp will be held on August 8^th, 9^th, & 10^th at the Solomon Junior High School Athletic Complex.  Registration will be on site. Harrold's Pharmacy will be offering Pfizer COVID vaccines to Wilkes-Barre Area students, ages 12 and up.  The free vaccination clinic will be held on Saturday, May 22nd from 9am to 2pm at Harrold's Pharmacy, 250 Old River Road, Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Junior Leadership Wilkes-Barre (JLWB) is a transformative personal and professional leadership development program for high school juniors that provides training techniques to advance leadership skills while increasing community awareness and civic responsibility to affect positive change. Students participate in JLWB during their Junior year of high school. Applications to the JLWB program must be completed during the Sophomore year and are subject to a Selection Process. Any sophomore in good academic standing from public, parochial, charter, and/or private schools in Northeast Pennsylvania may apply (with permission from their school Guidance Office and Administration) no later than March 8, 2021.
