Coughlin/G.A.R. Drama Club wins Froggy 101 Arts Fund Contest!

The night of November 9th the Coughlin/G.A.R. Drama Club was chosen by a fan favorite text vote to win a portion of the proceeds from Froggy 101 13th Annual Guitars and Stars Concert held at the Scranton Cultural Center. Drama Adviser, Alice Y. Lyons, entered the contest over a month ago with a description as to why the drama club should be chosen as a finalist for this donation from the Froggy Arts Fund. The Coughlin/G.A.R. Drama Club was chosen from dozens of entries from all over NEPA as one of three finalists for the honor to be chosen through a live vote for the top prize. After appearing on stage last night, with Senior members of the club, audience members, and those at home, were asked to text Froggy 101 with their vote. The club came out on top and received a much needed donation from the concert!
