The Commission on Economic Opportunity's Weinberg Regional Food Bank announced in the 2013-2014 school year that it would use a grant from Morgan Stanley to fund its Mobile School Pantry Program. This program ensures families have a readily accessible source of healthy and nutritious food to make at home. On the third Tuesday of every month, families from Dr. Kistler Elementary and Meyers Junior/Senior High School are eligible to take part in this program from 3:45 - 6:00.
The Dr. Kistler and Meyers school community is proud to assist with the C.E.O. Mobile Food Pantry. Faculty, staff, and administration volunteer their time. Student council members help to bag the food and get it ready for distribution. Please watch your school flyers if you would like to sign up for this great program.
