2016 PSSA Information

PSSA Testing Dates for Kistler Elementary are as follows:

April 12, 13, 14, & 15 - English Language Arts (4 sections) Grades 3-8
April 19, 20, & 21 - Mathematics (3 sections) Grades 3-8
April 26 & 27 - Science (2 sections) Grades 4 and 8
May 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 - Make-Ups



Upcoming Events: Students in grades 3-6 will soon be participating in a PSSA Pep Rally Breakfast and Bonfire! 

 SERAFINI SMARTIE QUESTION OF THE DAY- Starting Monday -March 21, students will be able to answer a different question every day. Smarties and other prizes will be awarded at our PSSA BONFIRE!

 - This website is the main source of PSSA information. Included on this page are links to Item and Scoring Samplers for each grade level and subject area. Scoring guidelines for each grade and subject area are also included. 

Getting Ready for the 2016 State Assessments Powerpoint - This is a copy of the presentation that was given by our Title 1 teachers during a PSSA preparation parent workshop during parent conferences on March 10. 

Attached is a copy of the Parent Information Letter that was sent home with each student in grades 3-6. This letter includes the Cell Phone / Electronic Device Policy, Frequently Asked Questions, Calculator Policy, and Code of Conduct for Test Takers.
