100th Day of School Celebration

The Kistler family celebrated the 100th day of school on Friday, February 5 in a huge way! Math-themed activities were planned that included every grade in the school. Some of the activities for all of the students included: 100th Day Bingo, Estimation Alley, Mystery Box, Problem Solving Bazaar, Take Your Lick Station, and Mohawk Headdress activities. Grades 3 through 6 participated in Math Olympics that included Tangram Test, Dicey Bar Graphs, Mystery Code Race, and Math is a Puzzle. Students in grades K through 2 participated in the surprise Return of Jack and Annie and the Magic Tree House. Jack and Annie took the students back in time to the Olympic Games in Greece and explored the number 100 by doing events from the Olympics, finding books about 100, and welcoming Zero Hero to the celebration!! Students also enjoyed a special 100th day snack as they left.....a pretzel rod for the number 1 and two mini doughnuts for the zeros.
