National School Breakfast Week Challenge

The students in Mrs. Roman's second grade class won the National School Breakfast Week Challenge by collecting the most tickets for attending breakfast. The prize was a breakfast beach themed party. Last Friday, the students were treated to a tropical banana smoothie and warm baked ulimate breakfast round. The students entered a beach classroom equipped with beachballs and beach music. They even got a pair of sunglasses! While the students enjoyed this treat Miss Mallory the Youth Advisory Council met with the students about the school menu. They each filled out a quick survey about the school menu and gave feedback on the things they liked and didn't like. The feedback given was a way to show help make the breakfast and lunch program better.
