Susan and I would like to thank you all for your donations to the Thanksgiving Drive.  From school board members, to faculty, to school staff, and custodial staff, you were all so generous! The families of the students we donated to were genuinely thankful for the boxes full of food.

I just wanted to share a story from yesterday's drop offs with you.  When I arrived at the home, I instructed the student's mother to check her box of goods out immediately, as she would need to put fresh foods away.  She looked at me questioningly.  She was shocked when I told her there were fresh foods in the box.  She even asked me how to cook fresh carrots.  These are foods her family almost never gets to eat.  

I attached a few photos for you.  One of the photos shows what all of the families received, and the other is a thank you card from one of the mothers we donated to!

We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families.  Thanks for always taking time to think about your students.
