Kistler Celebrates the 100th Day of School!

Kistler celebrated the 100th day of school with so many exciting activities on February 11, 2015. The 100 year old lady came to read a story to the students. She was joined by Shasta, our therapy dog. Grade three participated in a math scavenger hunt. Grades four through six had an exciting Math-a-Thon which was organized by Mrs. Livingston. There were lots of other fun things to do like the "Grab-a-Buck" station where students had to estimate and grab a dollar's worth of pennies. We had a computer voting station set up by Mr. Jones for the students to cast a vote to guess how much water would result when 100 ice cubes were melted in a graduated cylinder. Another fun contest was the "Stack 100 Cups" to see which student could stack the highest tower of cups. Lots of prizes were earned by many students. These are just some of the fun things we did to make the 100th day of school one to remember!
