The Mad Scientist Delivers a Cross-Curricular Lesson to Kistler Students
Mad Scientist Throughout the week of October 20th – October 24th Kistler Elementary School held a “Mad Scientist Laboratory” to promote cross curricular learning in Reading, Mathematics, and Science. The events throughout the week focused on sharing age appropriate literature that focused on the science of pumpkins, potions, density, and static electricity.  Principal, Ms. Margo Serafini, played the part of the Mad Scientist who read aloud stories to students, featured hands-on experiments, and provided a healthy snack. The goal of the event was to encourage students to use their critical thinking skills to solve problems and develop an understanding that Reading and Mathematics are an everyday skill.
