District Employees Help Organize Newton Math Contest
Newton Math OrganizersSeveral members of the Wilkes-Barre Area School District Mathematics Department served as organizers for the Newton Math Contest along with other educators from schools throughout the Wyoming Valley.  Sam Elias, Meyers High School, Jenifer Kemmerer, Coughlin High School, Jen Decker, Solomon Junior High School, and Corinne Drost, Mathematics Department supervisor all participated in this event.

King’s College recently hosted the Newton Math Contest, where students from local high schools competed in a day of rigorous mathematics.
