Birds of Prey Presentation
On May 4, Dr. Kistler Elementary was visited by an amazing presentation called "Close Encounters with Birds of Prey." This great program was sponsored by our PTO. An educator from the Delaware Valley Raptor Center brought a hawk, raptor, falcon, eagle, and owls to our school. He talked about predator/prey relationships, wildlife rehabilitation, specific adaptations of the birds present, and various issues facing wildlife today. The show was amazing!
