Coughlin High School’s legacy: A rich history comes full circle
Alex Mykulyn, Student Guest Writer for the Citizens' VoiceAccording to Coughlin’s History Club, in 1890, the Wilkes Barre High School opened as a place to house high school students and give them an education while providing a home for clubs such as the literary societies, Cliosophic and Sorosis.
