Seniors and students of Mr. Mike Galli's Modern History class were afforded the opportunity to step outside the classroom and apply their modern history knowledge to real life. A group of eight students accompanied Mr. Galli to the VA Medical Center, where they spent the morning of Friday, April 27th playing a well-spirited game of bingo with veterans who reside in the Community Living Center within the VA. Veterans in attendance said the event was "awesome" and that they enjoy talking to our young men and women. The students learned about the veterans' lives upon returning home from the Vietnam War.
Mr. Galli said, "the students were great ambassadors of what true Crusaders are."
