Dear Parent/Guardian,
My name is Hal Gabriel; I am the new principal at James M. Coughlin High School. Let me begin by saying I am not a stranger in the Wilkes-Barre Area School District. I have been a teacher, dean of students, assistant principal and building principal for over 21 years. I have also been an assistant football coach in the Wilkes-Barre Area School District as well. My educational background, I am a G.A.R. High School graduate, I received my undergraduate from King’s College, my Master’s Degree from Bloomsburg University and my Superintendent Letter from Edinboro University. I am also a proud father of two children as well.
I am very excited to be a part of your son/daughter’s final year/years of their high school careers. It is such an honor to be part of a great tradition here at James M. Coughlin High School.
