1st Graders Learn About Fire Safety
In observation of Fire Prevention Week, members of the Plains Twp. Fire Dept. recently visited the First Grade classes at Solomon Elementary School to review fire safety. They discussed the importance of 911, knowing two ways out, "in smoke, crawl low", and practiced Stop, Drop and Roll. The firefighters also dressed in full gear to teach children to not be afraid if there ever is a fire.
