Head Start Awareness
October is Head Start Awareness Month and National Principals Month. To celebrate this partnership, Kistler Elementary School's Princpal, Mrs. Margo Serafini, and reading specialist, Mrs. Sandy Atherton, joined the Head Start children in classrooms #1 and #18 at the Beekman Street center on Monday, October 29, 2018 for breakfast and a book. Relationships between Head Start and school districts help set the stage for children's continued success as they transititon from Head Start to kindergarten.
