Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pennies for Patients program

Students at Heights Murray Elementary are setting out to raise $2,200 to help fund blood cancer research and provide help and hope to thousands of patients and their families through The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pennies for Patients  program This is the twelfth year that the school has participated in the fundraising program raising over $29,191 for the LLS mission to have a world without blood cancers.

 

LLS’s Student Series programs are designed to teach students the important role they play in finding cures for blood cancers. Students spend five weeks collecting donations, from spare change to online gifts, in honor of local patients and to contribute to life-saving research.
