Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at G.A.R. Jr./Sr. High School, home of the Grenadiers! We are a school rich in tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, school culture, and community support.
Each school year represents a new opportunity for personal, social and academic growth. The goal of the faculty and administration of GAR is to provide an education that encourages and develops social and emotional growth, critical thought, analytical problem solving, leadership and citizenship. Our teachers will go above and beyond to be sure your students receive a rigorous, meaningful education that prepares them for success after high school.
Staying involved in your child’s education is critical to his/her success. We believe that parents need to stay more aware of events taking place in their child’s life more than ever before. Communication between school and home is a vital component of academic success. Please utilize our Skyward information system to monitor your child’s progress during the course of the school year. Access to Skyward can be obtained by completing a form which can be obtained in the main office. Please feel free to contact the school to speak to a faculty member or administrator regarding any concerns or questions you may have.
