In observance of the Easter Break, meal distribution will take place on Monday, March 29, 2021, and Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Next week's distribution will take place on Tuesday, April 6, 2021,  Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 and Friday, April 9, 2021. All meals will be distributed between 3:15-4:00PM. Pick-up locations are at Heights, Kistler, Flood, Dodson, and Solomon Elementary Schools.

The Nutrition Group will be conducting meal distribution for all kids 18 and under. Pick-up locations are at Heights, Kistler, Flood, Dodson, and Solomon Elementary Schools most Monday, Wednesday & Fridays from 3:15-4:00PM. The Wilkes-Barre Area School District will be holding Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, March 16th for all elementary schools, Wednesday, March 17th for Solomon Junior High, and Thursday, March 18th for all secondary schools.  The first session is open from 8:30 am to noon, and the second session is open from 1:00 to 4:00.  Many teachers will be using the ZOOM platform to utilize the waiting room feature. (Note: Your student's teacher(s) may be making special arrangements or scheduled phone calls through their own messaging apps.  Please follow those directions if instructed.)

If you cannot attend virtual conferences or need additional time, parents and guardians are always welcome to schedule an appointment with teachers at any time if needed.

PHEAA is offering two (2) virtual FAFSA Overview webinars in March for students and their families who may need help in completing the 2021-22 FAFSA application.  This webinar will be very helpful to seniors who have not competed the FAFSA application.   The first webinar will be offered on March 3, 2021 at 6:30 PM and the second webinar will be offered on March 24, 2021 at 6:30 PM.  
After each webinar PHEAA will have staff available to assist students and their families with any follow up questions they may have at that time.
