Your participation is vital in helping us create a positive environment for our students, families, and community. Please be aware that some questions may be sensitive in nature, and you are not required to answer any question you are uncomfortable with. Your feedback, even on a voluntary basis, is invaluable and will greatly assist us in making informed decisions for our school community.Thank you for your support and involvement.
Greetings Solomon-Plains School Families,As part of our ongoing commitment to school safety, we regularly conduct safety drills throughout the school year. In the next few days, we will hold our October Safety drills, which may include fire drills, lockdowns, restricted movements, evacuations to host facilities, and weather-related drills.Safety measures are important for ensuring the well-being of our students and staff. To ensure the effectiveness of these drills and maintain our safety protocols, we do not announce them in advance for students and families. This approach helps us prepare our students and staff to respond effectively in real situations. In addition, we want to remind you of the important security measures in place at our school to ensure the safety of all students and staff:ID Required: A valid ID is necessary for entry into the building.Appointments: All appointments and meetings must be prescheduled unless prior arrangements have been made with administration.Safety Protocols: All visitors are required to adhere to all safety protocols, including screenings through metal detectors and ID checks using the Raptor System.Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone on our school grounds.Best regards,Mr. Correll

Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers, As a school that welcomes and celebrates diversity, we are committed to ensuring that all individuals have access to our facilities, particularly those who need handicap-accessible parking and transportation.Recently, we’ve noticed several cars blocking ADA parking spots and parking in designated areas without proper license plates or placards. This has created challenges during our afternoon pickup, especially for students requiring special accommodations. We kindly ask all parents and guardians using the Abbott Street parking lot to park only in designated and lined spots. Your cooperation will help us ensure a smooth dismissal process for everyone.Thank you for your support in making our school environment accessible to all.Warm regards,Mr. Correll
