This was designed to go along with the book Balloons Over Broadway The True Story of the Puppeteer Macy’s Parade by Melissa Sweet.  A great story of STEM in action and perfect as we prepare for Thanksgiving. The students listened to the story and then admired some of the more recent floats on their chromebooks. The students then designed their own "floats" choosing what color balloon they would need and what they would need to add the perfect details to their projects. The students then got to work crafting their fabulous floats! We had a parade around the school to show off all our hard work.
