Throughout the month of March 2022, Solomon-Plains Elementary students participated in the Reading is Fundamental Program.  This program is sponsored by UGI and gives first grade student the opportunity to read some great literature pieces.  There is a wide variety of fiction, non-fiction, realistic fiction, poetry books and more.  Once the students choose the book that they want, they are able to take it home and keep if for their own personal library.  Our Title 1 Coach, Lorrie Gardner, along with the classroom teacher, assisted the students with their book selections.  The kids enjoyed searching for the perfect book and can't wait to do it again.  This program provides a wonderful opportunity of putting books in the hands of children.  Thank You UGI!
