Many classes from Solomon-Plains Elementary School took place in Wyoming Valley’s largest reading challenge during the month of March. Students were asked to read an extra 30 minutes a day for 15 days in March. Our school, along with many others in the district, helped the United Way to reach their goal of reading One Million Minutes! Mrs. Parry’s class was randomly selected as a winner to acknowledge their participation. Students were rewarded with a coupon to receive a free ice cream cone from McDonalds. Thank You United Way!!
