Student Covid-19 Vaccination Clinic
With anticipation that the CDC will be approving the Pfizer Vaccine for children 12 years old and older, the Wilkes-Barre Area School District has collaborated with the Pediatrics Association of Kingston to provide Wilkes-Barre Area students, ages 12 and up, with the Pfizer vaccine.  The free vaccination clinic will be held on Thursday, May 13, at Kistler Elementary School from 3:30 to 5:30 for the first shot and then on Thursday, June 3, at Kistler Elementary School from 3:30 to 5:30 for the second shot.

A survey is available in Skyward Family Access if you are interested in your student receiving a vaccination.  For those who do not have Skyward Family Access, please contact your child’s school and they will complete the survey for you.

All students must have a completed consent form that can be printed from our website here or picked up in the school’s main office.  All students ages 12 to 15 must have a completed consent form and must be accompanied by an adult.  Students ages 16 and older must have a completed consent form but do not need to be accompanied by an adult.

Please note:  the vaccine is free of cost but insurance information is needed.  If you do not have insurance, you are still eligible to receive the vaccine free of charge.

If you are interested in having your child receive the Pfizer vaccine, please respond "yes" to the survey in Skyward.
