Vaccination Clinic Announcement
The Wilkes-Barre Area School District is pleased to announce that we have once again collaborated with the Pediatrics Association of Kingston to provide Wilkes-Barre Area students, ages 5 and up, with the Pfizer vaccine.  The vaccination clinic will be held at Kistler Elementary School.

The first dose will be given on Saturday, November 20 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and the second dose will be given on Saturday, December 11 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

All students must have a completed consent form and pre-vaccination screening form that can be printed from our website or picked up in the school’s main office.  All students ages 5 to 15 must have a completed consent form and must be accompanied by an adult.  Students ages 16 and older must have a completed consent form but do not need to be accompanied by an adult.  Please note that there are two different consent forms.   One form is consent for students 5 to 15 years of age when a parent is needed and the other is consent for students 16 and older when a parent is not needed.

Please note:  the vaccine is free of cost but insurance information is needed.  If you do not have insurance, you are still eligible to receive the vaccine free of charge.   Please register online for your free vaccine.  Indicate if you will be attending the Kistler Clinic or the Wilkes-Barre Area High School Clinic.
