Tracking Ian in Stem Class

This week in Mr. Rosengrant’s 6-3 STEM Class, the students are using both their math and science skills and tracking Hurricane Ian as it closes in on Florida. Students have created their own hurricane trackers to keep up with the storm. Student’s have been making predictions, using calculations, and using various online websites such as Weather.com and The National Hurricane Center to assist with their activity. Students have also been using the think-pair-share model as well to see if there predictions about the storm are correct.
