Late to School
Many students continue to arrive late to school. All students are required to be in class by 7:55 AM.
We monitor the lines entering the building, and sometimes, they may be slow to assure security is checking all bags carefully upon student arrival.
*The best plan is for all students to arrive before 7:45 to assure they will not be late entering the building and to class.
***Students who accumulate more than 5 unexcused lates will earn detention; students who reach 10 unexcused lates will have a required parent conference with school administration.
Backpacks & Pencil Cases-ISSUES to Address
Student backpacks must only include their school books, chromebooks, charger cord, and pencil/pen, and a lunch bag for those who bring their own lunch.
If students use a pencil case, it must be clear.
Students who have multiple bags within their backpack slow the line down because we must thoroughly check every bag within the backpack-this cannot happen.
Our #1 Goal is for all students to enter the building on time and without any items that compromise the safety of our student; therefore, students must only have minimal and required items for speedy check-in.

Congratulations to our Junior High Cross Country Team! They were undefeated the entire season and also were the Wyoming Valley Conference Champions!

Muchos estudiantes continúan llegando tarde a la escuela. Se requiere que todos los estudiantes estén en clase a las 7:55 AM.

Mochilas y Estuches-PUNTOS a abordar
Las mochilas de los estudiantes solo deben incluir sus libros escolares, Chromebooks, el cable del cargador y el lápiz/bolígrafo, y una bolsa de almuerzo para aquellos que traigan su propio almuerzo.
Si los estudiantes usan una caja de lápices, debe ser transparente.
Los estudiantes que tienen varias bolsas dentro de su mochila reducen la velocidad de la fila porque debemos revisar minuciosamente cada bolsa dentro de la mochila; esto no puede suceder.
