12th Annual Spelling Bee

Students

Heights-Murray held its 12th Annual Spelling Bee on Friday, January 6. Students from fifht and sixth grades competed according to rules based on the Scripps National Spelling Bee. The winner moves on to the regional championship in March. The regional winner is awared a trip to Washington, D.C. to particpate in the Scripss National Spelling Bee. Darlene Nunez, sixth grade, became the first back-to-back winner in school history.
