Spring Testing at Solomon and GAR Middle Schools

Solomon Middle School PSSA testing dates:
April 28th - ELA, May 1st - ELA
May 8th and 9th - Math
May 10th -  Science
May 11th  - Make-ups

GAR Middle School PSSA testing dates:
April 25th, 26th and 27th - ELA:  Report at 8:15 AM to the front entrance
May 2nd and 3rd - Math:  Report at 8:15 AM to the front entrance
May 4th and 5th - Science:  (8th grade only)  Report at 8:15 Am to the front entrance

Student's can take their neighborhood bus to the school on the scheduled testing dates.  However, all students must be picked up at the conclusion of each testing date.

Keystone Exam Notice

PLEASE NOTE:  KEYSTONE EXAMS WILL BE GIVEN BETWEEN MAY 15TH AND MAY 26TH.

May 15th and 16th:  Biology
This test is for all students presently taking a biology class (Adv Bio 1, Bio 1, and L/S Bio).

May 17th:  No testing

May 18th and 19th:  Literature Make Ups
This testing is for any 11th grade English student who either did not show up for the exam earlier this school year or for those who did not score proficient or better.

May 22nd and 23rd:  Algebra Make Ups
This testing if for any student who did not show up for the exam earlier this school year or for those who did not score proficient or better.

Students can take the bus from their neighborhood bus stop.  Cyber students will need to provide their own transportation home, at the conclusion of the testing days.

Last Day to Order your Cap and Gown

Tuesday, February 28th is the last day to order your cap and gown for graduation ceremonies.  You can order during any lunch period or from 4-6 pm after school.  You need one in order to walk across the date on June 9th! There will be a date later on in the school year when you will be able to pick up your cap and gown. This date will be announced at a different time.  Please click below for the Cap and Gown flyer which includes a QRCode you can use to scan and order online!

Tutoring Available

After school tutoring is available at the High school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Transportation is not provided.  If interested, please see the attached flyer for complete information and use the registration link to sign up!

Chromebook Insurance Available

Insurance is available for all students have have been issued a Chromebook for use in Cyber School this year.  There has been a slight increase in the cost of the insurance this year.  Please click on the information links to find out more!

Remaining in Cyber School

  • All students who are currently enrolled in Cyber School and plan to remain in Cyber school, please contact Mr.Gabriel through email [email protected]
  • Students should specify his/her name, home school and grade they will be entering for the 2022-2023 school year. 
  • Students who do not contact Mr. Gabriel, will automatically be scheduled for in person school.
