IMPORTANT! Cyber intentions for 2025-2026 School Year

All students must fill out the following google form link indicating if they are going to stay in Cyber for the 2025-2026 school year. All students currently in Cyber and plan to return to IN PERSON next year must also fill out the form. If the form is not filled in by the 15th of April, all students will be automatically placed in Cyber for next school year.

Window to Switch to Cyber

The window for students wishing to change to the Cyber Academy for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year will be from January 13, 2025 until February 13th, 2025.  If interested contact your home school or Mr. Gabriel at ext. 2110.

Chromebook Distribution for Cyber Students

Distribution of Chromebooks will begin a the High School for Seniors on Monday, August 19th from 9am to 11 am.  We will continue the process for the rest of the week with Juniors, Tuesday August 20th, Sophomores, Wednesday August 21st, and Freshman, Thursday August 22nd.  Hours will remain 9am to 11 am each day.

Please contact the middle and/or elementary school that is your home school for dates and times they will be distributing Chromebooks for their cyber students.

Cyber Students who attend Wilkes-Barre CTC

This information is for all Cyber students who also attend the Wilkes-Barre CTC. The Wilkes-Barre CTC will begin on August 26th. They will also be closed on August 30th and September 2nd for the Labor Day Weekend. That will leave 6 days that the CTC will be open and the Wilkes-Barre High School Closed. For these days STA Bus Co. will have one bus at each school GAR, MACKIN, Solomon Middle and Kistler. Students should be at these school for 7:20 am and 11:20 am for the PM sessions. The buses will take the students to and from these school to the CTC and the 9th graders to the Old Dodson Building. The students will need to find their own ride home after being dropped off at their home school sites.

Cyber School Orientation 2024-2025

The Wilkes-Barre Area Cyber Academy will be holding an orientation on the 1st of August at 6 pm at the high school.  Doors open at 5:30 pm. Hope to see you there!

Chromebook Insurance Available

Insurance is available for all students have have been issued a Chromebook for use in Cyber School this year.  There has been a slight increase in the cost of the insurance this year.  Please click on the information links to find out more!
