WILKES-BARRE AREA BOARD MEETING RE-SCHEDULED


OFFICIAL NOTICE is hereby given that the WILKES-BARRE AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION will hold a Committee Meeting on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., and the Regular Board Meeting will be held on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.  All meetings will be held at the Wilkes-Barre Area High School, 2021 Wolfpack Way, Plains, PA.  Individuals wishing to address the Board must be signed in five (5) minutes prior to the start of each meeting.  The Regular Board Meeting will be live-streamed for viewing purposes only.

Board Minutes will be posted online once approved by the Wilkes-Barre Area School District Board of Directors. Board Minutes online do not include any attachments such as contracts, bid proposals, or other items that may have been a part of the meeting procedures. These documents can be reviewed at the Wilkes-Barre Area School District Administration Building, 730 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 upon request. Budget Notice

OFFICIAL NOTICE is given that the Proposed Final Budget for the General Fund of the Wilkes-Barre Area School District for the 2023-2024 fiscal year in its most recent form is available for public inspection on the District website, and is expected to be presented for adoption as the Final Budget at the School Board Meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2023.  The budget may be amended before or after final adoption.  If an individual is unable to access the Proposed Final Budget on the District website,  a printed copy may be obtained at the Administration Building, 730 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA.
