Virtual Learning Day - February 6, 2025
Due to the Winter Weather Advisory forecast for Thursday, February 6, 2025, the Wilkes-Barre Area School District will implement a virtual learning day for all students. The following guidelines will be in effect.
  • Students will not report to school.
  • Students will follow their regular schedule.
  • Students should log into their Google Classrooms or Class Dojo for instruction and assignments.
  • Attendance will be taken for each class.

Purchasing Department

The Purchasing Department assists schools, academic and operational departments in obtaining quality goods and services at competitive prices from responsible suppliers in accordance with the Pennsylvania School Code and Board policies.

Within the framework provided by the Pennsylvania School Code, Article VIII, Section 801 through 810 and Board policies, it purchases supplies, furniture, equipment, textbooks and services when required.
