Junior and Senior Prom Qualifications

Any student that has any of the following WILL NOT be able to attend the prom:

Student has been suspended more than 5 days
Student has more than 10 unexcused absences
Student has more than 10 unexcused lates from January 30th to the day of the Prom
Student has 25 or more total absences

Statewide High School Graduation Requirements - OPTIONS!

Effective with the graduating class of 2023, students have the option to demonstrate postsecondary preparedness through one of four additional pathways that more fully illustrate college, career, and community readiness.  Please see the options seniors have to meet the graduation requirements at Act 158: Pathways to Graduation Toolkit and the attached documents.

CAPAA Artwork Featured In Friedman Art Gallery

Art students at WBA CAPAA debuted their original work at the Friedman Gallery.
This marks the 4th Annual High School Art Exhibit hosted by Penn State
The exhibit is running now through January 31st and is open to the public
Monday-Friday 9:00a.m.- 4:00p.m.

STEM student giving candy

WBA STEM Academy students support local Truck or Treats

Thanks to candy donations from students' families and student volunteers, the STEM Academy was able to participate in Truck or Treats in Plains, Bear Creek and Wilkes-Barre Township.  All were excited to help provide the children in the community the opportunity to trick or treat in a safe and friendly environment!
