Dear Wilkes-Barre Area Families,

As we prepare for the school year, the Wilkes-Barre Area School District is pleased to offer parents and guardians the opportunity to purchase optional insurance coverage for your student's district-assigned Chromebook.

In accordance with our district technology policy, students and families are responsible for the cost of repairs or replacements due to accidental damage or loss. Enrolling in an optional protection plan provides peace of mind and helps avoid unexpected out-of-pocket expenses.

The CHIP program is pleased to partner with LEAs in helping families find affordable health insurance for their children. After all, healthy kids are better students!

You are invited to the Title I Annual Parent Meeting on May 4, 2026 at the Dan Flood Elementary School from 5:00-6:30 PM.  See the attached flyer for full information and registration link.
