SOLOMON/PLAINS JR. HIGH SCHOOL PARTICIPATES IN SUICIDE PREVENTION & AWARENESS PROGRAM

Mr. Bob Mc Grady, Health teacher; Mr. James Atherton, Guidance Counselor;  Layla Macking, Hannah Bohonko, Jacie Roebuck, Mr. Josh Rivedal, presenter; Mr. Tony Khalife, assistant principal.

All faculty, staff, students and administration participated in a suicide prevention and awareness program which featured Mr. Josh Rivedal from the Matthew Silverman Memorial Foundation.

Josh traveled from Los Angeles California on a grant from the foundation. The foundation is a nonprofit public charity dedicated to raising awareness with the goals of preventing suicide and saving lives. The foundation provides financial and programmatic support as well as mental health programs for teens and young adults throughout the country.
