Spirit Week To Be Held September 18 through 22!

Coughlin is celebrating Homecoming on September 22. Spirit Week will be held the week of September 18 through the 22. Students are encouraged to dress in the following themes each day. 

Monday - Hawaiian Shirt Day (Hawaiian shirts, leis)
Tuesday - Twin Tuesday (Normal Dress Code)
Wednesday - Crazy Sock Day (Normal Dress Code)
Thursday - Jersey/Team Day (Allowed to wear a jersey/shirt over a collared shirt, dress code pants. No hoodies)
Friday - Color Day (This is a dress down day!). Students are encouraged to wear blue and red and must abide by the rules below.

Any type of face/body painting is prohibited and a collared shirt is required to be worn.
  • Skirts must be knee length

  • Hoodies and sweatpants are allowed but must be red, blue, or be issued by a CHS sport or club and be free of or references to alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and other inappropriate items

  • No tank-top shirts

  • Shoes or foot covering must be worn for safety reasons

  • Shorts- need to be no shorter than (2) inches above the knee

  • Jeans- no rips, holes, or any form of wording on the jeans and must still be sized to fit the student

  • Pants and jeans must still be secured at the waist and have a maximum of 4 pockets- (2) in the front and (2) in the back

  • Baseball hats are allowed but free of or references to alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and other inappropriate items

  • No yoga pants

  • T-shirts- no holes, rips, or references to alcohol, tobacco or drugs

  • Piercings- all piercings must still comply with the current dress code.

  • Any item that is currently deemed inappropriate by the dress code and is not specifically mentioned above is still prohibited

  • All students must attend regularly scheduled classes on time!
