"We Got Your Back" Fundraiser
As you are aware, the recent events of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma have devastated the states of Texas and Florida. The loss of lives and property is yet to be fully assessed. Many residents are unable to move from the shelters within the hurricane zones. This has happened at a time, when schools were set to re-open with very little resources.
As school districts, Luzerne County, Wyoming County and the Luzerne Intermediate Unit 18 are coming together as one and stand with our brother and sister school districts in the affected areas. We have started a fundraiser “We Got Your Back” to send some assistance to the students in Texas and Florida.
