Students Salute Veterans for Valentine's Day Key Club Salutes Veterans
Meyers Key Club members passed out flowers and Valentine's at the VA Hospital in recognition of Salute a Veteran Week
The Valentine's were made by Mrs. Flaherty's  classes at Meyers and Mrs. Gubitose's classes at GAR.

Performing Arts Creative And Performing Arts Academy Showcase rescheduled to March 13th at 7pm!
The rescheduled 1st Semester Performing and Visual Arts Showcase performance by the WBASD CAPPA  will take place, Wednesday, March 13, 2019,  at 7:00PM.
Lobby doors will open at 6:15PM for the Visual Art gallery viewing and the auditorium doors for general seating for the performance will open at 6:40PM. The show is free and open to the public.

STEM STEM Parent Night
The WBASD STEM Academy students will host 2019 STEM Parent Night on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The evening will include an informational session for parents/guardians and their children.  STEM Night will give parents and students the opportunity to see first hand what the program is about through the eyes of current students.  Students currently enrolled in 8th Grade taking Algebra I and/or Advanced College Preparatory classes are eligible. Please confirm your attendance by Monday, February 25, 2019 using  this form.

January Students of the Month with advisers and principal February Students of the Month
E. L. Meyers Junior/ Senior High School is pleased to announce the Students of the Month, for the month of January 2019.
In order to be nominated for Student of the Month, a student must go above and beyond in showing true “Mohawk Pride”, for both themselves and their school. They must maintain exceptional grades, attitude, and commitment to others. Once nominated, a panel of faculty and staff review the nominations and vote on who is most deserving. 
Winners receive their picture on the “Wall of Fame,” and lunch ordered from a local restaurant. 
The winners for the month of January -8th grade student: Nufsat Tasmin and 7th grade student: Naquan Johnson. 
The Mohawk community is proud to call these students family, as they excel in values and manners.
