Physicals Provided by the Wilkes-Barre Area School District will be held on the following days and times:Wednesday, June 7thSolomon Middle School: 8:15-9:45amGAR Middle School: 10am-12pm*All paperwork for these physicals must be turned in to Ms. Galella at Solomon or the school nurse at GAR by Wednesday, May 31st, or you will not have an appointment. You may also have a physical by your own family doctor. These physicals must be scheduled and dated after June 1st, and can be turned in to Ms. Galella(Solomon) or the school nurse(GAR) if we are still in school, or your coach the first day of practice. Seven WBA Middle School students competed in the Chamber of Commerce Civics Bee on April 29th with great success. Nagge Fleming, a GAR student, is a top three finalist and will complete at the state level Civics Bee. The group of students that participated worked very hard after school under the guidance of Social Studies teacher, Ms. Ulichney.

PSSA testing for cyber school students will take place on the following days:April 28th, May 1st - ELAMay 8th and 9th - MathMay 10th - Science (8th grade only)May 11th and 12th make-upsStudents are to report to the main entrance before 7:45 am.Students can ride the bus to school but must be picked up once testing is complete for that day.

Ms Letteer's class participated in the AG Agriculture program from Buttenhead Farms. They learned about livestock, including goats. The students held, fed and did some yoga with the baby goats.
