Spring Keystones


It is Keystone Exam Time! This year we will be operating on a 3 hour delay schedule for all students who are not taking the Keystone Test. Students who are taking the test will come in at their regular time. Transportation will be provided for ALL students. PARENTS, make sure your child is well-rested and eats a good breakfast. Breakfast will also be provided here at school. DO YOUR BEST! Remember, passing of the Keystone Exam is a graduation requirement.

Keystone Exam Schedule
Biology         May 15 and 16   
Literature      May 18 and 19
Algebra         May  22 and 23

***There will be a 3 hour delay schedule on these dates. Students who are taking the exam will take their regular bus and/or report to school at the regular time. Be Early. Testing will start at 9AM*** 

***Students who are not taking the exam will catch their bus 3 hours later than on a regular day.***

"Mad Science" presentation at Solomon Elementary

On October 27th, Mrs. Krueger's and Miss Kelley's Life Skills Support classes were treated to a "Mad Science" presentation by students from the Wilkes-Barre Area STEM class.  Scientists Cecelia and Ian, along with their teacher, Mr. Eberts, showed the students all the wonderful experiments they learned during their recent visit to Mars.

WBA STEM Academy students support local Truck or Treats

Thanks to candy donations from students' families and student volunteers, the STEM Academy was able to participate in Truck or Treats in Plains, Bear Creek and Wilkes-Barre Township.  All were excited to help provide the children in the community the opportunity to trick or treat in a safe and friendly environment!
