Dr. Kistler Elementary School students decked the halls in the annual Christmas concert this year. The school performance was held on December 17, while the parent performance was held on December 18. The student body, faculty, staff, administration, and families enjoyed the festive atmosphere and even sang along to some of the familiar tunes.
Sixth grade strings, band, and chorus each performed several holiday songs. The strings, led by Ms. Kellar, performed "Jolly Old St. Nicholas," "Believe" from the Polar Express, "The Ukranian Bell Carol," and "Jingle Bells." The band, led by Ms. Fletcher, performed "Jolly Old. St Nicholas," "Jingle Bells," "Good King Wenceslas," and "Up on the Housetop." Finally the chorus, led by Mrs. Stork, performed "Feliz Navidad," "Jingle Bell Rock," and "Meli Kalikmaka." We can't wait for the next performance in the spring!
