Life Cycle of the Butterfly

Mrs. Bukeavich's first grade class is learning about the life cycle of the butterfly. All butterflies go through complete metamorphosis. To grow into an adult they go through 4 stages: egg, larva, pupa (chrysalis), and adult. The first graders are anxiously waiting for the adult butterflies to emerge from the 8 chrysalis they have in their classroom. When that happens, the class will have a butterfly release party!
