G.A.R. Memorial
High School has implemented a school wide positive behavior program. The program is based on the six pillars of
character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and
citizenship.
As part of this school wide initiative, the
Ray Sunday Student of the Month Award is given each month. One senior high student and one junior high
student are chosen for this mark of excellence. The award is in memory of Ray
Sunday, an exceptional former teacher at G.A.R. who dedicated his life to the
future of his students.
