Thank you to the United Way of Wyoming Valley for their on-going support for our WBASD Elementary Schools.  Students in Kindergarten and 1st grade participated in the United Way & Highmark Present WVIA's "PBS Kids in the Classroom Live Stream". Throughout the lesson our students had the opportunity to learn about animal habitats and participate in a variety of educational activities.  Our partners at the United Way treated each student to a chocolate chip cookie in celebration of the United Way of Wyoming Valley's 100th Birthday.  All kindergarten and 1st grade students also received an at home learning pack with a lunchbox and learning tools such as crayons, eraser, book, and ruler.  For more information about our partners at the United Way of Wyoming Valley visit: https://www.unitedwaywb.org/
