WBASD Anti Drug and Suicide Prevention Event
On May 30, 2017, students in all Wilkes-Barre Area junior and senior high schools are invited to attend the WBASD Anti Drug and Suicide Prevention Walk held at Meyers Stadium. The purpose of this event is to encourage students to unite for a drug free lifestyle and suicide prevention. PBS Kids Writers Contest
Attention students in grades K-3: Students Are Encouraged to Submit Original Stories for the Regional and State Contest.  It’s time to sharpen those pencils for the annual PBS KIDS Writers Contest, designed to promote the advancement of children’s literacy skills through hands-on, active learning.  For all of the details, click here.

Dress Code Revisions Approved
Revisions to the Wilkes-Barre Area School District Dress Code were approved at the School Board Meeting held on July 20, 2015. These updates will be implemented for the start of the 2015-16 school year. Click on READ MORE to download a copy of the revised Dress Code.
