Welcome to Computer Applications! I am more than excited to get to know you!
This is going to be an exciting year. We will learn the basics of computers, typing effectively and efficiently, the ins and outs of Word, Excel, Power Point, Glogster, Edmodo, and how to create our own Apps!
Students are expected to act the same way in class that they would at work. Your grade will be your salary. If you come late or unprepared to class, points will be deducted. I ask that all students check the Edmodo website daily for assignments and posts.
Grades will be based on class performance, hands-on activities, quizzes, tests, activities sheets, projects, following classroom rules and being prepared. If students refuse or choose to not follow directions, they will lose points, serve detention, be sent to the office, or a parental conference may be scheduled.
